A £50 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking for all initial consultations, and a 50% deposit for treatment appointments to cover the costs of products which have been individually prescribed for you. The balance of the fee needs to be paid in full at the start of the consultation, and prior to any treatment being given.
Please be aware that the outcome of an aesthetics consultation may be information, advice and/or medical opinion stating that you are unsuitable for treatment. This is part of the consultation process, and therefore you will not be entitled to a refund of your consultation fee.
Dr Spencer will assess whether a treatment is suitable for you, and whether it is likely to be successful, prior to any treatment being carried out. We reserve the right to refuse treatment if the treatment is deemed not suitable for any reason, including that it is unlikely to be successful, or if there are concerns with regard to client expectations or client compliance. Please be aware that individual results for any treatment may vary from person to person and that results are not guaranteed.
Our aesthetics treatment costs cover not only the delivery of a treatment, but also the accompanying service, which includes:
- Doctor-led consultation and assessment
- Provision of information and advice
- Treatment with medical products
- Follow up appointments and aftercare advice
Whilst we undertake to provide excellent service we cannot guarantee your results and cannot offer refunds if the results fail to meet your expectations. Some transformations may take several stages to complete, although Dr Spencer should explain this to you at the initial consult.
Cancellations and Lateness
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice must be given for all cancellations, or you may forfeit the entirety of your fee. Cancellations or re-arrangements outside this period are not charged. Failure to attend will also forfeit your fee. Cancellations may be made by phone or email, but must be acknowledged by the Clinic to be valid.
Lateness can happen to us all, but please respect your fellow patients by trying to attend on time. If you are late for your appointment, then this may result in reduced consultation/ treatment time, or your appointment may need to be rescheduled at Dr Spencer’s discretion.
General Clinic Policies
We do not allow children to attend the Clinic, nor patients to be accompanied by pets. If you require a carer or friend to attend with you, then please make Dr Spencer aware, as it may not always be possible to accommodate due to restricted space and social distancing in the Clinic.
The SAM Clinic will not be liable in contract, or otherwise, for any economic loss (including without limitation, loss of profit), or for any other special, indirect or consequential loss or damage, arising out of, or in connection with, its provision of any goods and/or services to the Patient.
It is the Patient’s responsibility to ensure that they provide the SAM Clinic with all relevant medical details prior to each treatment. The SAM Clinic will not be liable for any damage that occurs as a result of the Patient’s failure to disclose such details.
The Patient agrees to comply with all instructions and/or recommendations given to them by the SAM Clinic regarding the care of a treated area. Nothing in these terms of business shall exclude or limit the SAM Clinic’s liability for death or any personal injury resulting from negligence.
The SAM Clinic is committed to providing a safe and professional service. However, if for some reason you are unhappy with your treatment or consultation and want to give us feedback, please contact us by email email@example.com. You will be invited to speak with Dr Spencer at the earliest opportunity to try and resolve matters.
All written complaints should be addressed to the Complaints Lead, and emailed to:firstname.lastname@example.org
Please describe as fully as you can the nature of your complaint. We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 3 working days and to provide a full written response within 28 days of receipt. If a full response cannot be given within 28 days, we will write to you to explain the reason for the delay.
For medical emergencies, which should have been highlighted in your aftercare, then please call for an urgent review.
Whilst we welcome all genuine feedback, positive or otherwise, there may be times when we believe some reviews are fictitious with an attempt to harm the reputation of Dr Spencer and the SAM Clinic. In these cases, especially with the anonymity that social media can provide, the individual will be invited to give the exact details of their contact with the Clinic to prove that they are genuine.
If this does not yield any results, they will be asked to remove their feedback or face the possibility of legal action under defamation laws. IP addresses are now easily obtainable by internet service providers and/or the police to track down their real identities, and Dr Spencer is insured to pursue legal claims such as these, without hesitation.
