Payments

A £50 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking for all initial consultations, and a 50% deposit for treatment appointments to cover the costs of products which have been individually prescribed for you. The balance of the fee needs to be paid in full at the start of the consultation, and prior to any treatment being given.

Please be aware that the outcome of an aesthetics consultation may be information, advice and/or medical opinion stating that you are unsuitable for treatment. This is part of the consultation process, and therefore you will not be entitled to a refund of your consultation fee.

Dr Spencer will assess whether a treatment is suitable for you, and whether it is likely to be successful, prior to any treatment being carried out. We reserve the right to refuse treatment if the treatment is deemed not suitable for any reason, including that it is unlikely to be successful, or if there are concerns with regard to client expectations or client compliance. Please be aware that individual results for any treatment may vary from person to person and that results are not guaranteed.

Our aesthetics treatment costs cover not only the delivery of a treatment, but also the accompanying service, which includes:

  • Doctor-led consultation and assessment
  • Provision of information and advice
  • Treatment with medical products
  • Follow up appointments and aftercare advice

Whilst we undertake to provide excellent service we cannot guarantee your results and cannot offer refunds if the results fail to meet your expectations. Some transformations may take several stages to complete, although Dr Spencer should explain this to you at the initial consult.

Cancellations and Lateness

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice must be given for all cancellations, or you may forfeit the entirety of your fee. Cancellations or re-arrangements outside this period are not charged. Failure to attend will also forfeit your fee. Cancellations may be made by phone or email, but must be acknowledged by the Clinic to be valid.

Lateness can happen to us all, but please respect your fellow patients by trying to attend on time. If you are late for your appointment, then this may result in reduced consultation/ treatment time, or your appointment may need to be rescheduled at Dr Spencer’s discretion.

General Clinic Policies

We do not allow children to attend the Clinic, nor patients to be accompanied by pets. If you require a carer or friend to attend with you, then please make Dr Spencer aware, as it may not always be possible to accommodate due to restricted space and social distancing in the Clinic.

The SAM Clinic will not be liable in contract, or otherwise, for any economic loss (including without limitation, loss of profit), or for any other special, indirect or consequential loss or damage, arising out of, or in connection with, its provision of any goods and/or services to the Patient.

It is the Patient’s responsibility to ensure that they provide the SAM Clinic with all relevant medical details prior to each treatment. The SAM Clinic will not be liable for any damage that occurs as a result of the Patient’s failure to disclose such details.

The Patient agrees to comply with all instructions and/or recommendations given to them by the SAM Clinic regarding the care of a treated area. Nothing in these terms of business shall exclude or limit the SAM Clinic’s liability for death or any personal injury resulting from negligence.
