In some cases Dr Spencer may recommend further investigations, such as blood tests or scans. If you are a local Sussex patient, then she will be able to advise on costs and reputable services if you wish to pursue these privately. Although the majority of the time, further investigations will not be necessary and/or the NHS can facilitate these via your own GP.

All new patients will need to have an initial 30 minute consultation with Dr Spencer to go through your needs and expectations. This will include a facial scan and analysis, with a personalised skincare plan.

There is a £50 fee for this initial consultation, which is no longer redeemable from 1st April 2025.

It is not automatically expected that you will have an injectable treatment at your initial appointment. This is to make sure that you have had time to fully absorb and understand the procedure(s). There is no obligation to go further if you are unsure.

If the consultation evolves to be more medical in nature, and you wish to receive medical advice rather than aesthetic advice, then at Dr Spencer’s discretion you can convert to a medical appointment for which you will instead need to pay £125 (minus £50 fee already paid). The Medical Dermatology consultation fee is not redeemable against injectable treatments.
