Unlike dermal filler, which adds shape and volume, skin boosters work by flooding the deeper layers of skin with hydration and prompting your skin to produce more of its own collagen and elastin (the proteins that keep skin firm and bouncy). Our most popular option, Profhilo, is delivered in just two sessions and can create a noticeable glow across the face and neck. We also offer Sunekos, which is particularly good for thin, crepe-like skin and can be used around the eyes, neck and hands. Numbing cream is always applied before treatment.

Numbing cream is always applied before treatment. Most patients find skin boosters very comfortable and describe only a mild pressure sensation during the injections.

Profhilo results last around 6 months, with a starting course of 2 sessions 4 weeks apart, then a top-up every 6 months. Sunekos is given over 3 sessions spaced 2-4 weeks apart, with ongoing maintenance every 6 months.

Profhilo requires 2 sessions 4 weeks apart to begin with. Sunekos uses 3 sessions spaced around a 2-4 weeks apart, with the first session using two products to give the skin a stronger initial boost. You will notice your skin continuing to improve between appointments.

Skin boosters improve the overall quality, feel and hydration of your skin across a wide area but do not change the shape or structure of your face. Think of filler as addressing volume and contour, and a skin booster as treating the skin itself to look and feel healthier.

Profhilo: £450 for the 2-session starting course; £250 for 6-monthly top-ups. Sunekos: £650 for a full face course of 3 sessions; £300 for the under-eye area; maintenance sessions from £200.
