About

Radiesse works differently to standard fillers. Tiny particles within the product (Calcium Hydroxylapatite - CaHA) provide an immediate lifting and firming effect, while at the same time they send signals to the skin's collagen-producing cells, encouraging them to generate fresh collagen over the months that follow. This means the results continue to develop long after the appointment. When used in a more diluted form, Radiesse can also be spread across larger areas such as the neck, chest or hands to improve skin quality and firmness more broadly.

CaHA is biocompatible, mimicking the naturally occurring mineral components in bones and teeth.

Treatment

Numbing cream is used prior to treatment as well as local anaesthetic injection if appropriate. Radiesse also contains local anaesthetic for your comfort. The treatment is delivered using cannulas for safety.

A full aftercare plan is discussed with you and sent to you digitally for reference afterwards. This is to minimise complications and to ensure the best result for you.

Is This The Right Treatment For You?

Biostimulators are best suited to patients who are noticing more significant volume loss, facial sagging or loss of firmness and are looking for a longer-lasting, more structural result than standard filler can provide. They are particularly popular with patients in their 40s and above who feel their face is beginning to look deflated or gaunt. The diluted version is a great option for those troubled by loose or crepey skin on the neck, chest or hands.

You will notice an immediate improvement in firmness and structure after treatment. Collagen production then builds gradually over the following 2–3 months, with many patients noticing their skin continuing to improve well beyond their appointment.
