Formerly Streptocalyx biflorus, from Ecuador, is a rather small grower for this group, maturing at about 24 inches across in an open rosette. The leaves are stiff and narrow and at anthesis, the center blushes red with a cone like inflorescence of bright yellow. Stunning!
