1970s Embroidered Gold & Black Caftan designer-joy-stevens It is completely cut onA gorgeous vintage caftan whose base is a black cotton mix fabric that has a gold and silver white thread design embroidered onto it. The caftan is cut supermodel long and is light but with enough weight to hold the shape. I love the dramatic and wide panel of embroidery work that runs all the way down the front and across the upper back. It is picked up heavily around the cuffs of the sleeves and the design trails down each side and around the
