Adorable 1950s Hand Knit Red Floral Detail Sweater designer-thea-porter I feel that Halley designsThis little red sweater is so fabulous and it is a wonderful example of the mid century knitwear that was coming out of countries like Germany for the tourist market. It is completely hand made and I love the floral design that is worked through the knit around the collar and curving around the back as well. The knit through the body is nubby and is slightly raised so has an extra dimension to it and I love the little cord that runs through the waist
