Aechmea chantinii x tessmannii 'Select Clone' once a week glossy magenta with a pinkA stunning hybrid with upright growth, green leaves with dark reddish chocolate veneer on the undersides and green above. The leaves are banded with silver on both sides. The inflorescence is a tall, branched scape with vivid orange crimson bracts and orange branches tipped in yellow. Fairly large, it may reach up to 30 inches tall. Offsets are on stout stolons.
