"My intention is to capture gesture, personality, and something of the spirit, especially as it exists in relationship. I use a bandsaw, a sander, a rotary carver, a drill, poplar and pine to make my pieces. Like icing on a cake, coloring the wood carvings with layers of acrylics, metallic leaf or powders brings each piece to life."
