This is a fabulous 1970s Leonard done in a beautiful silk jersey in a deep red with hand painted gold and azure flowers painted onto ii

I think it was a brilliant way to re-do an iconic look from YSL and make it his own

The jacket is entirely made of the cut silk velvet and it is not lined so again you get that incredible play on transparency and glimpse of skin through the fabric

Excellent condition with minimum wear to the pelts

Based on the lines and fabrication of this dress I suspect it is from one of his very first collections
