This Travel Retail Exclusive Laphroaig was left to rest in first fill, over charred ex bourbon barrels before further maturing in large, new European oak hogsheads, never before used by the distillery. The latter provide a slower maturation than traditional casks. The signature peat smoke combined with soft oak results in a whisky of great depth. ABV 48%
