Torrside Dogs Of War 'Battle Pug' 2025 Islay Barrel American Barley Wine 11.5% 75cl Local Distillery you've really piqued our interestBattle Pug (2025) belongs to Torrsides 'Dogs of War' range of barrel aged beers. An American barleywine brewed in 2021 has been maturing in an ex sherry Islay whisky barrel for this release. It pours black brown, and is unctuous and sweet as is typical of a Barleywine. The barrel aging has imparted deep and complex flavours, with smokiness courtesy of the Islay whisky, dried fruit character from the sherry, and subtle oakiness from the barrel itself.
