The way the paper and marble has worn over years is exquisite. Only time and use can create such a beautiful patina. They are always a privilege to study and own. I love to use them as base boards for styling and photography. They also look lovely leant on a shelf or mantle like a painting or as part of a still life. This board measures 27. 5cm x 20cm Early 1800's
